Unrest in the USA - 2020
2020 saw an increase in civil unrest in the United States, in large part owing to the outrage over several police-involved shootings of black civilians. Many cities saw large-scale demonstrations that sometimes featured arson and looting. Groups of armed civilians become an increasingly common sight; and several fatalities occurred.
